Sherman's career is built on challenging conventional thinking and creating original ideas. He has lent his creative vision to prestigious brands such as Saint Laurent, Interview Magazine, Vogue, Matty Matheson, Audemars Piguet, Brother Vellies, The Wall Street Journal, and COS, among others.
Christopher Sherman’s signature film portraits of visionaries offer a unique, intimate look at some of the world’s most influential thinkers, dreamers, and doers - including Francis Ford Coppola, Jeanne Beker, David Cronenberg, and Anne Carson. Through his lens, Sherman strips away the persona to capture a rare vulnerability and rawness to each frame.
In addition, Sherman sparked a sex-positive revolution through his creative project, "Have A Horny Day." This exploration of sex positivity—through images, sound, video, and writing—has been impactful, with the Horny Newsletter reaching 100,000 readers worldwide after 13 issues. Interview Magazine dubbed him the “Prince of Horniness.”
Beyond his brand work, Sherman has showcased his artistic vision with a highly acclaimed solo exhibition, “Your Shame Bores Me,” presented by Yabu Pushelburg. Celebrating a decade of his work in Toronto, the show is scheduled to travel in 2026 to New York, Milan, and Paris. He also created and hosted a one-night-only performance, Horny Newsletter Live: 15 Horny Writers Reading opening as a stage production at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre June 2026.
